City of Um

Description:

These tasks mostly take place in and around the City of Um or in relation to the Necromancy skill. Complete these tasks in any order you wish, however, you must have the previous task reward before you can claim the next.

Talk to Icthlarin near the ritual site after completing all Easy tasks to obtain the Tome of Um 1, 10-4,096 Coins per achievement, and an Antique lamp granting 2,000 experience in a skill of your choice over level 20.

At all times:

15 Bones from Lupe daily

When worn:

Ashes sent to Bank when collected
Bones and Big bones sent to Focus storage when collected (toggleable)
2.5% chance per Impure essence to create extra runes
+3% Experience for dispelling Ritual Disturbances
10% chance to create 4-dose Necromancy potions while in Um

Can also be operated for 10 teleports to the Um smithy per day.

Medium Tasks:
Talk to Frank North of the tavern after completing all Medium tasks to obtain the Tome of Um 2, 10-4,096 Coins per achievement and an Antique lamp granting 10,000 experience in a skill of your choice over level 50.

At all times:

from Lupe daily:
- 15 Bones
- 5 Baby dragon bones
- 5 Regular ghostly ink
- 5 Regular ritual candles

When worn:

Ashes sent to Bank when collected
Bones, Big bones, Baby dragon bones, and Wyvern bones sent to Focus storage when collected (toggleable)
5% chance per Impure essence to create extra runes
+5% Necroplasm from Rituals (stacks with Multiply glyphs)
+6% Experience for dispelling Ritual Disturbances
10% chance to create 4-dose Necromancy potions and Super Necromancy potions while in Um

Can also be operated for unlimited teleports to the Um smithy and 10 teleports to the Ritual site per day.

Easy Tasks:

All Easy tasks are worth 5 RuneScore each. Some achievements can be completed by Free to play users.

A Prayer For The Dying	Talk to Selene to learn a Necromancy Prayer.	- 10 Prayer - Necromancy!	Choose the "Which God do you worship?" option. Once the conversation finishes, you will be able to talk to her and ask her to teach you Prayers.
A View To Die For	Find the amazing viewpoint overlooking the City of Um that will give you hours of enjoyment.	- Necromancy!	Climb the stairs in the building East of Lupe's, walk up the wooden scaffolding (North), and stand on the clock tower platform.
And They Called Him Weapon Poison+++	Kill a ghost troll with Necromancy in the cave entrance to Trollgrav.	- Necromancy!	Can be completed with tier 10 gear.
Basic Soul Forgery	Upgrade a piece of Death Skull or Deathwarden equipment to tier 20.	- 15 Crafting OR Smithing - Kili Row	Any gear piece upgrade will work.
Damage Without Consequences	Use the Finger of Death ability while having 6 stacks of Necrosis to avoid draining any adrenaline.	- 13 Necromancy	Touch of Death ability generates 4 stacks of Necrosis; Necromancy ability generates 2 stacks while under the effect of Living Death. Use both to create your stack then attack with Finger of Death. Monster does not have to be defeated.
Don't Lose Your Focus	Deposit a ritual focus object into the focus storage at the City of Um ritual site.	- Necromancy!	Any Ritual focus will work.
I'm Ready To Believe You!	Dispel any ritual disturbance while performing a Necromancy ritual.	- 5 Necromancy - Necromancy!	Any Disturbance will work.
Lesser Ritualist	Complete a Lesser Necroplasm ritual.	- 5 Necromancy - Necromancy!	Will convert 200 Weak necroplasm into 100 Lesser necroplasm and 3 Ectoplasm.
My Skeleton Can Beat Up Your Skeleton	Have a Skeleton Warrior conjured while fighting a skeleton in the Lumbridge Catacombs.	- 2 Necromancy - The Blood Pact - Necromancy! - "Conjure Skeleton Warrior" ability unlocked	1 Ectoplasm required to conjure a Skeleton Warrior.
Nobody Tell Guthix	Craft some spirit or bone runes.	- Rune Mythos	Must be completed post Quest.
Poltergeist Pen Pal	Craft some regular ghostly ink while in the City of Um.	- 20 Necromancy - Necromancy!	Can use the Lesser necroplasm created completing the Lesser Ritualist task
The One Stop Occultist's Shop	Buy something from the Lupe's Soul Supplies shop in the City of Um.	- Necromancy!	Any item will work.

A Grave Concoction	Make a Necromancy potion while in the City of Um.	- 11 Herblore - Necromancy!	Necromancy potion can be created anywhere within the City of Um.
Advanced Soul Forgery	Upgrade a piece of Death Skull or Deathwarden equipment to tier 50.	- 45 Crafting OR Smithing - 50 Necromancy - Kili Row	Any piece will work. Must have completed the associated Task set to learn how to upgrade.
Tis Merely a Flesh Rune	Craft some flesh runes.	- 40 Runecrafting - Rune Mythos	Any number of runes can be created; Flesh altar is on the South side of the pocket dimension.
Bone-A Fide Shield	Use the defensive ability Reflect while the Lesser Bone Shield incantation is active.	- 25 Necromancy - 37 Defence - Rune Mythos	This will require 10 Bone runes and 10 Spirit runes to complete. 5 of each to cast Lesser Bone Shield and 5 of each to use a defensive. You do not have to be in combat to complete this task.
Command & Calcium	Use the Command Skeleton Warrior ability.	- 20 Necromancy - Necromancy! - "Command Skeleton Warrior" ability unlocked	Ability unlocked with 50 souls from the Well of Souls. Conjuring a skeleton will require 1 Ectoplasm.
Dying To Get In	Teleport to the City of Um using the City of Um Teleport incantation.	- 24 Necromancy - Rune Mythos	Incantation uses 5 Spirit runes to cast.
Glyph It A Try	Use any alteration glyph in a ritual.	- 30 Necromancy - Necromancy!	Alteration glyphs are any tier: Attraction, Multiply, Protection, and Speed.
Mourning Ritual	Complete a communion ritual using a memento.	- 5 Necromancy - Necromancy!	Any memento will work. Mementos include: Broken, Fragile, Spirit, Robust, and Powerful.
My Undead Can Beat Up Your Undead	While in Varrock Sewers, have either a Putrid Zombie or Vengeful Ghost conjured while fighting the matching creature.	- 40 Necromancy - Rune Mythos - "Conjure Putrid Zombie" OR "Conjure Vengeful Ghost" ability unlocked	Both abilities can be unlocked at 400 souls from the Well of Souls and requires 1 Talent point to unlock each. If you have not yet either unlock, it is suggested to get the Vengeful ghost first. Once you have either one unlocked, travel to the Varrock Sewers and conjure it in the appropriate area.
We All Bloat Down Here	Make an enemy apply Bloated to at least 2 targets on death.	- 48 Necromancy	Recommended to be done in a crowded area such as the God Wars Dungeon without a God item on so as to maximize splatter. Alternatively you can use an Aggression potion on lower level creatures such as Goblins.
