He spawns in the South Eastern quadrant of the room during the second phase if you failed to destroy the associated Amalgamation before the timer ran out. If you had destroyed it, you would be facing a weaker version of Umbra.
Once he and the 3 other praesul have spawned, it it suggested to kill Umbra first. Followed by Glacias (Weakened), Cruor (Weakened), and finally Fumus (Weakened).
